Acceptance of Terms By engaging in any Jr Hoops activities, you agree to adhere to and be bound by these Terms of Service.
Participant Information We collect participant information for program administration purposes only. By enrolling, you grant Jr Hoops permission to use this information responsibly and in accordance with relevant privacy laws.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Basketball involves inherent risks, including the risk of physical injury. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree not to hold Jr Hoops, its organizers, sponsors, supervisors, board members, volunteers, or other participants responsible for claims arising from ordinary negligence in connection with program participation, including injuries or property damage, and you voluntarily assume these inherent risks. This release does not apply to gross negligence, recklessness, or willful or intentional misconduct, and it does not waive any rights that cannot be waived under California law. A separate liability waiver may be required as part of registration.
Parental Responsibility Parents/legal guardians are responsible for supervising their child during program participation and ensuring their compliance with safety guidelines and rules.
Emergency Medical Treatment Participants have permission to receive emergency medical treatment if needed. Parents/legal guardians are responsible for providing accurate and updated emergency contact information.
Use of Participant’s Name and Likeness By enrolling, you grant Jr Hoops permission to use the participant’s name and likeness for promotional and informational purposes without charge.
Privacy and Data Protection We are committed to safeguarding your privacy. Personal information collected through our programs is used for program-related purposes and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only with the service providers that help us operate our programs (such as our registration, email, and hosting providers) or where required by law.
Consent for Online Postings You provide consent for participant pictures to be posted online on our program’s website and social media for promotional and informational purposes.
Governing Law These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state of California.
Updates to Terms Jr Hoops reserves the right to update these Terms of Service. You will be notified of any material changes, and your continued participation constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
